Premonitory dreams

  1. I really like the mood of this one. I also like the skip or bend in the pages as though it is a dream interruption. Is there a reason or story behind those? I really like your layering style in these pages, your use of the rough paper as a background layer along with the patterns and bold images. Strong pieces!

p.s. How did you get the dark corners? Is that the burn tool?

  2. Thank you! Yes every visual has a specific object which represent in my opinion each type,
for example, the premonitory dreams have signs, like a forewarning, so I translated it into this visual which reflect the street language of my country too (frensh and arabic)!

    >>This dark corner is a separate layer with gradient black and overlay mode.

  4. I don't care what anyone says, I like this image better than the new one you have. The discussion in the last class was that you used a sign and people were saying it was too obvious, to use a street light or something. Yesterday everyone saw the new image, which is another sign, but with just an arrow rather than any words on it. If you are going to use another sign I would rather see the sign with both languages than another sign with an arrow....I just love the French and Arabic language on the sign....Maybe something to do with dreams rather than a directional sign?...just a thought.

    Is this just me?!....
